Q3 -What are your weaknesses?
Ans: In this question one should not mention any weakness which may not prove to be good for the post. Like if one is short tempered, then he/she should not mention it as it is a very negative aspect and can go against the candidate. One may hide his weakness and tell some weakness which may indirectly prove to be strength for the job or one may try to reveal such a weakness which would not matter much for the job or the post we are giving interview and we must also take a stand that you are fighting this weakness i.e. one should always end on the positive note.
The sample answers can be
My weakness is that I expect the same kind of commitment and efforts from my team mates. So I push them to put in more efforts which make me a bit over expectant.
Or I am an introvert person. Introvert in a way that I’ll not talk to a new person in a party until introduced by someone.
Doubt: One may ask that this strategy is used by everyone and the interviewer must be well aware of this strategy. Hence shouldn’t one give a true answer as none is perfectionist?
Ans: Yes this is right that interviewers are well aware of this strategy but they are not even expecting the candidate to reveal them their weaknesses. They just want to see that how the candidate turns the question into his/her favor or we can say they want see how candidate takes a way out of this stress situation.
